the location is fantastic, just steps from main sights, and the staff are super friendly! ! we enjoyed a lovely bottle of wine on the house, and the restaurant serves amazing food, really quaint atmosphere.

The proximity to key attractions, like the Heidelberg Castle and the Old Bridge, made exploring the area incredibly convenient. Plus, the room I stayed in was clean and had delightful traditional touches. Being able to enjoy authentic German cuisine in the restaurant was another highlight!

hotel-restaurant hackteufel is perfectly situated in the heart of the old town. breakfast was exceptional, thanks to a terrific waiter who made mornings brighter. also, the views from most rooms are incredible, allowing you to soak in the charm of the area.

Great stay! Friendly staff welcomed us with a drink. Wi-fi was reliable, but no lift.

Just a heads up, it can get a bit noisy at night with the bars nearby! But overall, it was a really comfy stay with nice touches like complementary wine.

Location was spot on—just a hop from all the sights! My room had lovely windows opening onto a charming cobblestone street. So picturesque with cherry trees blooming!

But, the walls must be made of paper because I could hear the nightly serenades from party-goers outside! Quite the unintended lullaby, if you ask me.

I stayed in the Junior Suite, and it was spacious and super comfy! Tons of windows meant lots of natural light. The air conditioning was a lifesaver. The view of the quiet courtyard was a nice touch – you wouldn't guess it's on a busy street! The bed was just right, and I loved having a fridge and kettle available. The outdoor terrace? Perfect for relaxing with a drink in the afternoons. Really enjoyed it!
