We recently stayed at Pension Schwansee and had a fantastic experience. the rooms were comfortable and had their own showers. the highlight was the amazing views from rooms 9 & 10, which overlooked both Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles. Klaus, our host, was incredibly welcoming and provided us with excellent dinner recommendations and invaluable information about the local attractions. the breakfast served was excellent, and the scrambled eggs were a must-try!

The view from my room was absolutely breathtaking, overlooking the stunning castle. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, with a variety of homemade dishes using fresh local ingredients. I highly recommend this hotel for its great location, friendly hosts, and amazing breakfast.

The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring that we got rooms together with a view of the two castles on an adjoining balcony. He even gave us discount cards for the castle tickets. The free parking at the hotel was convenient, and we loved being able to walk to Hohenschwangau in just 25 minutes. The rooms, although a bit small, were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options including must-try scrambled eggs.

The location of the hotel was great, with only a short walk to the entrance of the castles and the beautiful Lake Alpsee. the owner was very friendly and helpful, providing us with useful tips and discount cards for local attractions. the view from our room was also a highlight, offering a stunning panoramic view of the castles.

The hotel's bar/restaurant area was closed down, and most of the nearby restaurants were also closed. This meant that we had to walk to the nearby towns of Schwangau or Füssen, which were both about a 30-minute walk away.

Friendly and helpful owner, spacious rooms, beautiful location near Neuschwanstein castle, delicious breakfast with fresh eggs. The walk to the castle was scenic and breathtaking. a charming and cozy hotel that feels like home. Despite a few minor drawbacks, I would highly recommend staying here.

Claus, the host, was very accommodating and made our late arrival easy by arranging for us to collect our keys from a secure mailbox. the location is near the castle and the inn has free and spacious parking. Claus provided helpful insights into the Schwangau area and suggested walking to the castles, which offered a unique perspective. the rooms were comfortable and the breakfast, including delicious and fresh eggs, was a good deal. Pension Schwansee felt like a home away from home.

The hotel is in a wonderful location, surrounded by meadows and just a 20-30 minute walk from both famous castles. It's nice to walk to the castles and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The rooms are clean and spacious, with some even having balconies that offer a great view of the mountains. The breakfast is delicious and homemade, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

The shared toilet in the hallway could be inconvenient for guests, especially if there are others staying on the same floor.
