I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The room was clean and cozy, with two floors and windows that could be opened for fresh air. The staff was friendly and accommodating, even translating for my non-German-speaking mom. The food in the restaurant was delicious, with large portions at affordable prices. There were plenty of options for breakfast, catering to different dietary needs. The hotel had a lovely outdoor area for drinks and dining, perfect for enjoying the summer weather. The location was great, close to the Autobahn but situated in a quiet and peaceful area.

We spent our Christmas at this hotel and we must say we enjoyed the great fresh air and the quietness of the area, which made our stay very relaxing. The staff was really friendly and polite, making us feel at home. Also, we enjoyed the outdoor area for drinks and food, which was perfect for the summer. Moreover, the bathroom in the room was beautifully decorated!

The hotel's location. It was really hard to find with GPS, as it's on a small street. The other drawback was the card machine issue at check-out, which was a nightmare. The manager refused to come and speak to us and we had to pay for the room in cash. We weren't prepared for this and ended up having to withdraw cash from an ATM, which came with extra fees. It was painful!

We were attending a wedding nearby and arrived at the hotel around noon, well before the normal check-in time of 3pm. Despite the hotel's policy, they made an exception for us and allowed us to access our room early. The attic room we stayed in had low ceilings but was beautifully decorated and clean. Although there was no air conditioning, the hotel's garden was a delightful spot to enjoy the delicious breakfast they served. we had a pleasant experience at Hotel & Restaurant Am Alten Rhin and would recommend it to others.
