Hotel & Weinhaus Zum Schwarzen Baren exceeded my expectations in every way. the owners and staff provided a warm welcome and were incredibly helpful throughout my stay. They even allowed me to store my bikes in the garage and provided a tool station for any necessary repairs. the location of the hotel was perfect for cycling the picturesque Mosel and Rhine cycle paths. the room I stayed in was simple yet spacious, impeccably clean, and had an excellent shower. the amenities were top-notch, and I appreciated the attention to detail. the breakfast selection was fantastic, setting me up for a day of exploring. the hotel's beer garden offered a limited but delicious evening meal, and there were also good take-out options nearby.

We had a fantastic stay at this family-run hotel. The owners were warm and welcoming, and the hotel had a lovely, authentic atmosphere. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the garden. The food in the restaurant was absolutely wonderful, and we enjoyed dining on the garden terrace. The location was perfect for us, being in a quiet area near the Moselle river but still close enough to Koblenz. We also appreciated the free rental bikes and the extensive bike and walking path nearby. we thoroughly enjoyed our short but memorable stay.

A cozy suburban hotel with a warm family atmosphere. the restaurant offers excellent dishes and local wine. Free bikes rental from the hotel made our stay more exciting. the staff is friendly and helped us with recommendations for things to do and how to get around.

The hotel is a bit far from the city center, although the staff showed us the bus station nearby it wasn't very clear how to use it. the car park isn't secure, which gave us a bit of concern.
