During my Christmas stay in a hotel close to the Cologne-Bonn Airport in Germany, I had a great experience. the hotel's location was perfect for my needs, with just a short walk from the airport terminal. the hotel provided complimentary hot water kettle and refrigerator, which made my stay even more convenient. the free and fast Wi-Fi was also a plus point, which allowed me to stay connected with my family and friends back home.

I had to pay for a taxi ride even though the hotel was within walking distance, as I struggled to find the shuttle stop and no one was available to assist me at the hotel. the staff was non-responsive when I requested an alarm call and missed it, which could have resulted in me missing my flight.
