The location was fantastic, within walking distance from many of the Berlin attractions and with links to multiple subway lines just around the corner at Stadtmitte station. This made it incredibly easy to explore all the interesting areas in this city. The room itself was spacious, clean, and seemed recently renovated. The front office staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I also appreciated the fast WiFi and the reasonable price I paid for my stay.

I recently stayed at Select Hotel Berlin Gendarmenmarkt and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is perfectly located, with popular attractions like Checkpoint Charlie, the museum island, and Friedrichstrasse shopping street just a short walk away. It was so convenient to be able to explore the city on foot.

Although there were a few small drawbacks, such as the shower being in the middle of the room and the lack of basic amenities like shampoo, these minor inconveniences did not detract from my overall positive experience.
