We recently stayed at a charming pension in the heart of a medieval town. the accommodation at Pension "Das Ladle" was excellent, with spacious and comfortable rooms. the location was perfect, right in the historic city center. the owners were friendly and spoke English well. We enjoyed exploring the town, walking along the city wall, and visiting the local shops. the highlight of our trip was a Segway tour led by Robby, who is also a chef and gave great dinner recommendations. we had a wonderful stay at Pension "Das Ladle".

The place is super cosy, in the middle of the fortress, and very convenient for exploring. The bed is incredibly comfortable and the heater with the warm blanket is mind-blowing. The atmosphere is jaw-dropping, with an authentic medieval feel. We had everything we needed, even a little fridge, and parking right outside. The shower room, although tight, had all the modern facilities. Nadine and Robby were amazing, giving great dinner suggestions and offering a fantastic Segway tour. The area is safe at night and don't miss the hilarious and informative English tour of the city. The pension oozes historic character, and the owner's instructions made check-in a breeze. We loved the well-stocked minibar and the proximity to shops and cafés. a super stay with incredible extras like wi-fi, luggage storage, welcome drink, and more.

the host was friendly and the check-in process was hassle-free with a convenient lock box. the quadruple room was spacious enough for our group of three adults and one child. We easily found street parking nearby and the location was perfect for exploring the city. we appreciated the tea kettle and tea provided in the room.
