I recently stayed at a hotel in the Harz mountains, nestled close to the forest. Despite its location on the main road, the hotel turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The room was clean and well-designed, with a nature-inspired theme and a beautiful view of the forest. The bathroom was modern and equipped with a great shower. In terms of service, the staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. The breakfast, although served in a nearby restaurant, was free and provided a satisfying start to the day.

I did notice a lack of attention to cleanliness in some areas of the hotel, such as dirty walls, trash cans, and dishwashers.

We stayed in one of the spacious houses close to the forest and were pleasantly surprised by its size. With two showers and separate toilets, we enjoyed ample space for four people. The small sauna was a nice addition, accommodating up to four people comfortably. We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, allowing us to cook our meals. The furniture was beautifully designed, and we especially loved the sauna. We were impressed with the hotel's pet-friendly policy, as they even provided a food bowl for our furry friend. The terrace outside was perfect for enjoying sunny days. The staff and cleaning crew were kind and readily available, and the proximity to hiking paths allowed for easy access to outdoor activities.

The nature surrounding the hotel was beautiful, with lots of wildlife to see. the bed was very comfortable, offering a good night's sleep. the breakfast provided was of good quality and delicious.

the reception, room, and restaurant were in separate locations, which was inconvenient, especially when the weather was bad. Lastly, the staff was unhelpful and did not provide useful information about the hotel's amenities.
