We loved being tucked away from the crowds, but still being right by the sea. Additionally, having comfortable buses just outside the hotel every half hour that took you to Thera throughout the day was really handy. Being pretty much right by the entrance to the amazing Akrotiri archeological site was great for us, then bus into the Museum - perfect. The hotel was delightfully small and low key, tucked very aesthetically into the slope up from the beach. Our room, number 15 was a decent size, with the Santorini-style curve giving height to the ceiling and small ensuite bathroom. The room opened to a shared balcony space with a wonderful view out towards where people walk round to Red Sand Beach. We also had a view of the boats moored out from the beach. We had the balcony to ourselves nearly all of the time. Should mention the breakfast on the terrace below was very good once you got the hang of the ordering system. Highly recommend including the grilled vegetables in your order.

We loved relaxing on our private terrace, complete with comfy chairs and a table. the rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, with a fridge, coffee maker, and digital safe. the breakfasts were sumptuous and the staff was flexible and helpful. the cafe/bar by the beach served delicious food and drinks all day, and the staff there were friendly and attentive. We also enjoyed exploring the nearby restaurants along the seafront, offering fresh seafood and Greek dishes. the location was peaceful and beautiful, away from the hustle and bustle of tourist attractions.

We had a really relaxing and peaceful time at this beautiful location in Santorini. the owners were wonderful, friendly, and accommodating. the breakfast was amazing and the value for money was incredible. the rooms were well-maintained and had all the necessary amenities. the hotel is conveniently located near Red Beach and great tavernas. We would definitely recommend hiring a car to explore the rest of the island. we had a fantastic experience and would consider staying here again if we return to Santorini.

We enjoyed a breathtaking view of the sea and white ships from our window, and waking up to this scenery was truly therapeutic. the breakfast was delicious, with options that could be customized to our preferences. We also appreciated having a refrigerator in the room, which allowed us to keep wine and snacks for our evenings on the terrace. the location of the hotel is perfect for relaxation and enjoying the authentic atmosphere of a Greek fishing village. There is a nearby tavern for dinner, and public transportation is easily accessible. We can't wait to come back to Akrotiri Hotel!

We were pleasantly surprised when we were upgraded to a lovely little house at the top of the hill. The hotel's location was very convenient, with the bus stop right beside it and the red beach just a short walk away. The hotel also provided beach chairs and umbrellas, making our beach days even more enjoyable. The breakfast served at the hotel was tasty and filling. Additionally, the hotel's location outside the main town provided a peaceful atmosphere and amazing views for stargazing.

The wifi only worked outside, not in the room. However, this was a minor inconvenience compared to the overall wonderful experience at the hotel.

The breakfast, which we pre-ordered the day before, was delicious and served with multiple options. The hotel is conveniently located near a private beach and various other beautiful beaches, as well as archaeological sites. There are also plenty of good restaurants, a minimarket, and an ATM nearby. It truly felt like a little paradise for us.
