We had an amazing stay at a hostel in Ioannina. the hostel, Backpackers And Travelers, was clean, well-maintained, and in a great location. the private room we stayed in was comfortable and offered excellent value for the price. the owners, Ioanna and Kostas, were incredibly friendly and provided us with useful information for exploring the beautiful Zagori region. the hostel had a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely terrace where we could relax and enjoy the good vibes. We highly recommend this hostel for an unforgettable stay in Ioannina.

Located in the heart of the city, this welcoming hostel offers clean rooms with comfortable beds and fans. With a central location, guests have easy access to major attractions, including the Perama Cave and boat departure point. The hostel provides a communal kitchen, computer station, and outside patio. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to assist guests with bus schedules and recommendations for car rentals and hiking places.

Limited storage space and some beds may wobble as guests move.

The value for my money at this hostel was unbeatable. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and exceeded my expectations. The location in the old town was perfect, allowing me to easily explore all the sights on foot. The staff, particularly Gianna and Kostas, were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the area, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The morning meal could be improved with a wider variety of options.

Stayed in a room that overlooked a lively terrace. Such a joy to hear drunk people laughing and yelling until late at night.

Oh, and did I mention the lovely bathrooms? Chilly as ever, especially in January.

I had a fantastic stay at Backpackers And Travelers in Ioannina. My purpose was to hike around Zagori and Vikos Gorge for 2 nights. Ioanna and Kostas were amazing hosts, providing all the useful information I needed. The place was always clean, beds comfortable, and the kitchen well equipped. The hostel's terrace had a great vibe, perfect for hanging out. The location was central to all major attractions, with the bus station nearby. Highly recommended!

Strongly recommend this hotel.

The friendly couple running it made us feel right at home. The location was perfect, right in the center of town near the castle. The wifi was steady, the showers were hot and powerful, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The hostel was also very clean and comfortable. The terrace was a great place to relax and meet fellow travelers, and we even made friends with the lovely resident cat. The staff were amazing, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the area, making our experience in this city unforgettable.
