Historic charm meets city vibrance

Staying at Carolina was delightful! The central location made getting to attractions super easy. My room had a lovely view of the Acropolis, and the daily breakfast was fresh and tasty. The staff was incredibly friendly, and I appreciated the luggage storage on my last day.

Excellent breakfast variety and accommodating staff.

My experience at Carolina Hotel was far from satisfactory. the hair dryer was so ineffective that it felt like trying to dry my hair with a soft breeze—not at all what I expected in a hotel setting. Additionally, I struggled with the outdated locking mechanism on my door, making me feel vulnerable each time I left my room. Although the location is ideal, the lack of attention to basic facilities like these made my stay quite disappointing.

Location is spot on! Walk to all major sights. I had a fab balcony in my lovely room on the 4th floor.

The lift was a bit lazy, only going to the 4th floor, and my bathroom felt like a cozy phone booth. Good luck with any acrobatics in there!

Awesome location and comfy rooms!

The room was super comfy and we spent evenings sippin drinks on the nice balcony. Breakfast was tasty too, especially the fresh fruit options. Just a heads up, the elevator is kinda sketchy, so be ready to take the stairs if you're on the 4th floor!

the location of carolina hotel is super close to everything, like syntagma and monastiraki squares. it’s perfect for walkin around the city and there are lots of cafes and shops nearby. rooms are cleaned daily and i found the bed really comfy. the staff was also really nice and helpful, always smilin. i got a room with a balcony that had a nice view of the city, which was a cool surprise.

but the bathroom was kinda small and the shower wasn’t great, water went everywhere. also, the elevator only goes to the fourth floor so had to haul my bags up the last flight of stairs.

the location of carolina hotel is super close to everything! like monastiraki and syntagma squares, u can walk to all the sights easily. staff was really kind and helpful, and the breakfast had nice options. the view from the balcony was pretty cool too. plus, the huge terrace on the roof is a nice spot to chill.

but the shower leaked water everywhere and the elevator was kinda sketchy, felt old and unsafe. also, the wifi could be way better in the rooms.

While the friendly staff went above and beyond, particularly during our delayed arrival, the room itself left much to be desired, lacking proper maintenance and having issues with housekeeping. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring an assortment of fresh fruits and various options that made every morning enjoyable.
