We stayed at Carolina Hotel for 4 nights and had a fantastic experience. The location was ideal, with Plaka and Monastiriki just a short walk away. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, arranging our laundry and early morning taxi to the airport. The breakfast was delicious, especially the Greek yogurt and lemon cake. The rooms were clean and bright, although a bit basic. The small balcony was a nice touch for enjoying a coffee. we felt at home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We loved the hotel's convenient location. It was close to the square where we could easily catch the bus to the airport and also within walking distance of the main attractions. The hotel was right in the middle of Plaka, making it perfect for visiting the ancient sites. Additionally, the transportation options were great, as we could easily get a taxi from the airport. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast provided was fresh and filling.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and caring, making me feel right at home. Even though my room was small, it was spotlessly clean and had a lovely balcony. The breakfast was delicious, with Greek yogurt and lemon cake being standout favorites. The location was perfect - just a 5-minute walk to Monastiraki Square and the metro station, as well as a 12-minute walk to Plaka. There were plenty of great bars and restaurants nearby, perfect for exploring this vibrant city.

I had a great stay at the Carolina Hotel Since 1934. The location was perfect, with easy access to the highlights of Athens. The cleanliness of the hotel, especially the linens and bath, was exceptional. I had a comfortable night's rest and enjoyed the small balcony to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. I highly recommend this hotel.

Well located, close to shops, restaurants, metro, and tourist areas. Simple but sufficient. Helpful and friendly staff. Great views from top floor rooms. Excellent location near Acropolis, restaurants, and cafes. Easily accessible by metro. Quiet rooms with balconies. Would stay again.

Despite the noise from the street, I had a pleasant stay at Carolina Hotel. The location was excellent, close to the city center and train station, making it convenient for exploring. The room itself was small but clean, with a comfortable bed. Additionally, the hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to meet our needs. This hotel is a great value for the money. The rooms are basic but comfortable, and I particularly enjoyed having a balcony with a view on the upper floors. The location is excellent, right in the center of everything, making it easy to walk to all the major Athens attractions. We were able to easily access all the main sights in the area. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more pleasant. We also enjoyed the rooftop garden with a stunning view. a fantastic experience.

That it was hard to find parking, even for taxis.

Great location in the heart of Athens, close to Syntagma Square and the Acropolis. Plenty of local food choices nearby. Comfortable beds and clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff, went above and beyond to assist with a medical emergency. Swimming pool for relaxation after a day of sightseeing. Convenient access to major tourist sites and the city. Immaculate condition and well-functioning air-conditioning.

I recently stayed at Carolina Hotel in Athens for 3 nights on a leisure trip. The rooftop room I booked was charming and separate from the busyness of the street. Despite the street noise at night, my sleep was undisturbed. The location was central and surrounded by a variety of bars and restaurants. The area, although gritty, reflected the economic problems Greece is facing. The staff was helpful and the breakfast provided everything I needed to start my day. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, especially in a rooftop room.
