Amazing hospitality, they really care about their guests. The rooms were impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. The staff provided helpful answers to all our questions and gave great recommendations for places to visit. The hotel grounds, including the garden and pool, were lovely. Despite being in low season, the breakfast was satisfying. The dinner menu was freshly prepared every night and delicious.

This hotel is situated on a hillside, offering breathtaking views of Malia. The rooms are well equipped and the balcony is a great spot to relax and soak in the scenery. With daily housekeeping, everything is kept neat and tidy, ensuring a comfortable stay.

Expectations Not Met

Text: Unfortunately, our stay fell short of expectations. The location was inconvenient, with a long walk down the hill to reach the beach or town. the lack of transportation options added to the inconvenience. The absence of Wi-Fi in the rooms and limited TV channels added to the disappointment. We also found the bed uncomfortably hard, resulting in nights of restless sleep. While the staff was friendly, the overall experience did not live up to our expectations.

Clean facilities and lovely staff. The pool was beautiful and had plenty of sun beds. There was a good menu in the snack bar and great local beer. The hotel is located in a good spot that is quiet, but still within walking distance to the town center where there are plenty of restaurants and bars. We enjoyed the Greek Meze night and Bar-B-Q night which were both exceptional value for money.

The bathroom was below average. It wasn't up to the same standards as the bedroom which did make a bit of an impact on our overall experience. Additionally, the hotel is located on a hill which makes it quite a walk to get to the town center. However, if you don't mind a bit of exercise, it's not too bad.

I have to say, Villa Mare Monte Aparthotel really gave us great value for our money. The room was beautiful, clean, and quiet with stunning sea views. The location was perfect too, just a short walk from the town center but far enough to avoid the party scene of Malia. The staff treated us like royalty from the moment we arrived, always available and friendly, making our stay even more special.

The hotel breakfast menu could use a little improvement.
