The Casa has a lovely, quiet garden setting, and our bungalow was clean and comfortable. The breakfast is good and a good value, and all of the staff are friendly and accommodating. The feel of the hostel is nice, with a clubhouse atmosphere and surrounded by plants. The little pool is a nice addition, and they even had a movie night with subtitles. The courtyard is amazing, with flowers and hammocks everywhere. The bathrooms were super clean and had cool artwork. The staff provided great local travel advice and recommendations, and there was a security guard at night for extra safety. The hostel also had convenient laundry facilities and a friendly cat.

I had a very special experience at Casa De La Iguana. The family that owns this hostel ensured I received the necessary medical care after breaking my wrist. They were incredibly caring and even let us stay in one of their private rooms. The garden is beautiful with plenty of relaxing areas, and the breakfast and menu options were delicious and affordably priced.
