Exquisite lake and volcano views from the terrace were absolutely breathtaking. The rooms were beautifully decorated, comfortable, and equipped with modern amenities. The hotel directory was so informative, covering everything we needed to know. The catering options were excellent, both room service and restaurants. The location was convenient, with nearby shops and easy access to the boat docks. The staff were polite, pleasant, and very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel for an amazing stay in Panajachel.

I absolutely loved my stay at Porta Hotel Del Lago! It was my second visit in a year and the rooms were clean, offering breathtaking views of the lake and volcanoes. The comfortable, large beds made for a great night's sleep. The food was excellent, and the large, clean pool was perfect for relaxing. The hotel's location near the shore and important Santander street was convenient. The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to assist. The special activities for children were a bonus, and the live music in the mornings and evenings created a pleasant atmosphere. The temporary inconvenience of the remodeling was well arranged, with free coffee and water provided.

This lakeside hotel is in a prime location, with boats stopping right outside, and is perfect for exploring other towns around the lake. There’s also a huge pool with sun loungers and a restaurant with amazing views.

Some rooms have seen better days and may need updating to bring them up to scratch.

When I accidentally left my wallet with my passport, credit cards, and cash in the room, the hotel promptly called me and returned it to me. The hotel's location was perfect, with amazing views of the lake and volcanos, and it was within walking distance to other establishments and boat docks. The hotel also had great amenities for families, such as a pool, playground, and activities room for kids. The rooms were comfortable and offered beautiful views of the lake.

Located on the shores of a beautiful lake with stunning views. The pool was a great feature, perfect for a refreshing swim during the hot weather. The spacious and clean rooms provided a comfortable stay.

The lack of soundproofing in the hotel was a major drawback. The noise from other rooms and outside the hotel was very disruptive, making it difficult to sleep or relax.

The best aspect of my stay was definitely the breathtaking views of the lake. My room had a balcony overlooking the water, and I was able to enjoy the stunning scenery of the lake and surrounding volcanoes. Additionally, the hotel's location was incredibly convenient. It was just a short walk to both the lakeside and the main shopping area, making it easy to explore and enjoy the local attractions.

Christmas at this hotel was surprisingly enjoyable. We received complimentary champagne and chocolates which was a nice touch. the hotel is located just steps away from the lake, which made it easy to stroll along the waterfront. the views of the nearby volcano were breathtaking. the pool was a great way to cool off during the hot afternoons.

The hotel staff was not particularly helpful and seemed unprepared to deal with international guests. the food at the hotel was overpriced and not very good.
