Island Hostel provided a wonderful stay for us. the friendly staff, well-equipped kitchen, and nice terrace were some of the highlights. the location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore both Buda and Pest while also offering a peaceful retreat from the busy city life. the hostel's proximity to the beautiful Margit-Sziget park and gardens was a bonus, and the rooftop area with comfortable seating provided a great spot to relax.

The location of this hostel is absolutely fantastic, being situated on an island close to parks, a musical fountain, and cool bars. It offers a great value for money, with clean bedrooms and bathrooms that are attended to daily. The beautiful terrace adorned with gorgeous flowers provides a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the view.

One concern I had was the lack of security, as it would be preferable for each guest to have the key to their room rather than relying on locker keys. the kitchen can sometimes get a bit messy due to its small size, which can be a minor inconvenience.

The helpful and professional staff goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Guests can enjoy the breathtaking view from the terrace, overlooking the majestic Danube River. The noise from the nearby bar and washing machines can be a bit disruptive at times.

We had an incredible stay at Island Hostel in Budapest! The location on Margaret Island was absolutely stunning. The hostel is connected to a beautiful terrace with a breathtaking view of the Danube River. Plus, the homemade burgers at the attached restaurant were a hit with my mother. Despite the chilly autumn weather, the staff made sure we were comfortable by turning on the heater in our room. The kitchen, which overlooks the terrace, was bright and perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee while admiring the river. The staff at the hostel were sweet and welcoming, which was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend this hostel for its fantastic location and friendly atmosphere.

While the room had a terrace door, it was connected to the main terrace, resulting in constant noise and disruption from people coming and going. Additionally, the room became extremely cold in autumn, requiring us to sleep in our warm clothes.

We had an amazing stay at this hostel on an island. The location was perfect, close to public transport and away from the busy streets. It felt like we were right in the center of everything. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hostel had great facilities, with a well-equipped kitchen, a washing machine, and a huge outdoor area to relax and socialize with other guests. The rooms were comfortable and had lockers and outlets. Not to mention, they even had a cute cat!

I recently stayed at Island Hostel for a few days and it was absolutely amazing. The location on Margaret Island is perfect for those who want to disconnect and enjoy nature. The terrace with views of the Danube and Hungarian Parliament is breathtaking. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel at home. The overall good vibes and unique touches, like funny drawings and international-themed decor, made it easy to meet new people. I highly recommend this place!
