Our recent stay at High Range Lodge was enjoyable and we would definitely return. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the good shower and ample parking available. The location was excellent, just a short walk from the center of town. Despite the hot weather, a fridge in the room would have been a nice addition to keep our drinks cold. we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the spacious and comfortable rooms, immaculately clean and with comfortable beds. The facilities were perfect for our needs, including a hot shower, large screen TV, and small fridge. The location was great, with beautiful surroundings and close to amenities and other interesting places to visit.

This hotel is conveniently located at the first roundabout after leaving the highway, making it easily accessible. It is also right next to a fantastic Italian restaurant, offering guests a delicious dining option. Additionally, the hotel is close to the train station, making it convenient for those traveling by rail.

The rooms lack adequate storage space, making it difficult to access the wardrobe and causing inconvenience for guests.

The room was surprisingly spacious and clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. the views from the grounds were amazing, with stunning scenery of the surrounding hills. the staff at the reception were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any queries or requests.

It was either unavailable or erratic, which made it difficult to plan activities and stay connected.

The value for money at High Range Lodge was excellent, with a warm, clean and comfortable room and a supportive bed. The location was great, and the staff provided a lovely welcome, offering helpful local knowledge and ensuring our stay was enjoyable.

When it comes to breakfast offerings, it would have been even better if High Range Lodge provided it as a service. However, there were plenty of places nearby where we could grab a delicious breakfast, which didn't take away from the overall enjoyment of our weekend getaway.

Spacious, well-furnished room. Convenient location for exploring Cairngorms. Great hikes nearby. Immaculately clean. Lovely hotel, restaurant, and bar. Proximity to Aviemore center but not crowded. Comfortable beds. Helpful staff.

All was perfect.

Staying here made my trip even better! I loved the location as it was close to everything and easy to find. The room was so cozy and had everything I needed like tea and coffee facilities, cookware/kitchen utensils, and free Wi-Fi. I also appreciated the sitting area and the carpeted floor! The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The leisure facilities were great too, especially the play area for kids.

All in all, I totally recommend this hotel to anyone!

Not one thing.

My husband is disabled and we requested a room that accommodated his needs. The hotel allocated us a ground floor room, which was convenient. The staff were very understanding and helpful during our stay. The room itself was well-sized, comfortable, and clean. The views from the hotel were breathtaking, and we enjoyed easy access to bus routes and the nearby River Spey path. Additionally, there was an Italian restaurant on-site, which was convenient for dining. I had a fantastic experience at this hotel.

For the money we paid, High Range Lodge exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious and well-equipped with a nice-sized fridge and comfortable seating area. The location was ideal, close to activities and dining options. The staff were friendly and accommodating, allowing us to store our luggage before check-in.

The hotel breakfast menu could benefit from some additional options. However, it wasn't a big issue as there are plenty of nearby places to grab a tasty breakfast or enjoy something simple.

Loved that the room had tea and coffee facilities and also complimentary free parking. the surrounding area is stunning and perfect for taking a long walk. the location was key, as there were eateries close by that made it easy to grab a quick meal.

One downside is that the hotel did not provide any breakfast facilities, which meant having to go into town to get a meal, which can be inconvenient. there were limited options for dinner since the Italian restaurant on site was only open for lunch and dinner.

The room size is spacious. The bed is a bit small, but overall comfortable. The pillows are firm, not particularly comfortable. It is recommended to bring your own pillows.

We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was perfect, surrounded by breathtaking mountain views and just a short walk from Tesco and Rothiemurchus. We loved being able to easily walk into the nearby town and explore, as well as being close to the A9 for day trips. Despite its convenient location, there was no road noise, allowing for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The service and housekeeping were top-notch, and the room amenities, such as the tea and coffee facilities and sitting area, made us feel right at home. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a bonus, ensuring we stayed connected during our stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We also enjoyed the leisure facilities available, such as table tennis, cycling, and tennis courts, providing plenty of entertainment options. Plus, the free parking and children's play area were convenient additions.
