Located down into the fjord in the Akureyri area, this guesthouse is exceptional in everything. The rooms and the gigantic bathrooms are spotless, and the breakfast, made with local products and even homemade bread, is delicious. Guests can enjoy the relaxing outdoor hot tub with breathtaking views over the mountains. The hosts are super friendly, making everyone feel welcomed and truly at home. They adapt to guests' preferences, whether engaging in conversations or giving them space. It's a personal Icelandic experience by nature.

We had the most amazing stay at a cozy guesthouse in Eyjafjaroarsveit. The hosts made us feel like family, serving delicious homemade breakfast and filling the hot tub just for us. Exceptional in everything, this hotel in the Akureyri area exceeded our expectations. The cozy and beautifully decorated rooms with divine linens provided a comfortable stay. The staff, especially the lovely and helpful couple, went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome. The breakfast, with freshly baked bread and homemade delights, was a delicious start to the day.

All was more than satisfactory, nothing to improve.
