The location was mind-blowing, with stunning scenery on the way to Husavik. The free parking and off-site car park made it super convenient. The spacious kitchen with all the necessary amenities was jaw-dropping, and the clean and modern bathrooms were a pleasant surprise. My room, with its comfortable bed and pillows, made me feel super comfortable. The host's email with detailed directions and road recommendations was incredibly helpful. Plus, the nearby Asbyrgi Canyon was a must-visit!

My wife says that it would be great if the guesthouse had a playground or outdoor space specifically designed for children. While the guesthouse was family-friendly, my kids wished for some outdoor activities to keep them entertained during our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at a gem of an accommodation. The Dettifoss Guesthouse provided us with big, comfortable rooms, complete with two comfy chairs, a huge desk, and our own sink. The guest kitchen was well equipped, and the dining room was lovely. The bathrooms were clean and had the added bonus of heated floors. We were also impressed by the thoughtful additions, such as the detailed posters of topographical Iceland and framed pictures of national birds, horses, goats, sheep. this was the best guesthouse we stayed at in Iceland, offering luxury and comfort.

Our trip was for sightseeing and we stayed there for three nights. The recently renovated bathrooms were amazing and the room itself was great. The well-equipped kitchen was a bonus and everything was very clean. The owner was incredibly patient with us, as we arrived late due to a miscalculation. Conveniently located just 30 minutes north of Dettifoss, the guesthouse had all the essential infrastructure we needed. The owner was also very helpful in researching open supermarkets during a holiday. Highly recommended!

The shared bathroom was modern and nicely decorated, complete with a great shower and heated floors. Das Hotel ist eine gemütliche und originelle Unterkunft auf dem Wasser. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber für zwei Personen ausreichend und haben alles, was wir brauchten. Die Lage am Rande der Altstadt ist perfekt, da wir in einer ruhigen Gegend waren, aber trotzdem fußläufig zu allen Attraktionen.
