Sai Gon 1979 Hotel provided great value for money with comfortable and well-equipped rooms. The location was perfect, situated in district 1 near all the main attractions, and the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.

Food for breakfast could have been better, with more variety or options available.

had an amazing time at a cozy hostel in HCMC. The rooftop was cool, good vibes, and a delicious breakfast. Backpacker-friendly prices and a private bathroom in the dorm room. Would recommend it for solo travelers. Made friends quickly and the location was perfect for exploring.

Private beds with curtains, plug socket and light. Comfortable with good blanket. Nice rooftop bar. Friendly staff. Hot water in shower. Nice decor. AMAZING staff went above and beyond to help me with a lost item and even had it cleaned and shipped to me.

As a car traveler, I appreciated the hotel's convenient location with easy access to parking and nearby attractions. The staff provided exceptional service and made me feel welcome. The spacious and clean room had a comfortable bed, good air conditioning, and nice decorations. The rooftop area was a great place to socialize and the bartender was friendly. The hotel also offered free breakfast, coffee, and water.

Staying at Sai Gon 1979 Hotel made my Vietnam trip more exciting. The friendly female staff, who spoke excellent English, provided exceptional service and a refreshing welcome drink. The breakfast combo offered a variety of options and was delicious. The strategic location, close to Bui Vien, allowed for easy access to the vibrant nightlife. The rooftop provided a great view and was the perfect place to relax. I am extremely satisfied with my choice to stay at this hostel.

The location of the hotel is great, as it is just around the corner from the backpacker street, so close to the action. The rooms are comfortable with private beds, curtain, and plug sockets. The staff at the reception are friendly and helpful. the breakfast provided is tasty and there is a street full of cheap banh mi right next to the hotel.

The hotel lacks an exercise room.

My stay at Sai Gon 1979 Hotel was fantastic! The room on the ground floor was comfortable and the staff spoke excellent English. They were extremely helpful, providing advice and even giving us change at the real currency rate. The rooftop was a highlight, with stunning views and delicious breakfasts and evening drinks. The area around the hotel was vibrant, with plenty of bars and restaurants catering to international tourists.
