I recently stayed at a hotel by a stunning waterfall, with activities departing from Flatey Farm and a drive to the glacier. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with a snug heated floor in the bathroom. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the breakfast had a huge selection. I enjoyed the gorgeous views and the convenience of being close to activities.

The WiFi was unreliable and often dropped or didn't work, causing some frustration.

The rooms were beautifully designed with a modern Nordic touch and were very spacious. the shower in the suite was absolutely amazing, definitely one of the best we've experienced in Iceland. the location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the Hofn/Vatnajokull area, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding scenery.

The breakfast buffet was slightly disappointing, but that seems to be the norm in our experience. the fire alarm going off due to burnt toast in the restaurant was a bit jarring and disrupted our sleep, but it wasn't the hotel's fault.

We loved the beautiful view from our room and the delicious dinner at the on-site restaurant. The Aurora service was a great touch, even though we didn't see any lights. We also appreciated the free parking and friendly service.

We had an amazing time at this hotel located near a small lagoon and close to a glacier. Despite the large buses that sort of take over the public space, the location is truly stunning. The room was cozy and comfortable, while the bathroom was clean and modern. The service was impeccable, and the breakfast offered everything you could imagine, just like the other reviews mentioned. Additionally, the facilities were top notch, and the view was breathtaking.

The coffee could use an upgrade, though!

The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always going out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. the restaurant was absolutely fabulous, with delicious food and a lovely ambiance. We especially loved the spice cake dessert, which was a definite highlight of our trip. the hotel was stylish with a beautiful design, and the rooms were comfortable, with comfortable beds and spacious showers.

That the room walls had scuffs from previous guests, which made the room look a bit worn. Another minor inconvenience was that the bedside lights were not integrated and had trailing cables, which made it a bit noisy when placing objects on the metal bedside shelves.

I was lucky to have a complimentary upgrade at Fosshotel. The room was comfortable and had a nice back door that allowed me to walk outside easily. The highlight of my stay was definitely the breathtaking view of the mountains and glaciers from the hotel. The dinner was delicious, especially the smoked sheep and langoustine. Although my boyfriend didn't enjoy his ribeye because it was tough, the friendly waiter made up for it. The breakfast was enjoyable as well. I had a great stay at Fosshotel and would recommend it.

My stay at a hotel near Hofn was exceptional. The friendly staff, especially in the restaurant, made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The hotel's modern and clean facilities, along with ample on-site parking, were impressive. Additionally, the location overlooking beautiful moorland, just a short drive from Hofn, was truly pleasant. I loved having tea and coffee facilities in my room, making my stay even more comfortable.

We had a lovely stay at a hotel in a stunning location. the room was gorgeous and exceptionally comfortable, with a nice view. the staff were excellent and the restaurant served outstanding meals at surprisingly reasonable prices. the hotel was also conveniently located, with easy access to the Glacier lagoon, Diamond beach, Vestrahorn/Stokksnes, and other photographic spots. the price was unbeatable, making it one of the best-value accommodations we experienced. We particularly loved the little cabin room by the waterfall.

The hotel also offers wifi and is conveniently located on the outskirts of town for a peaceful environment to spot the northern lights.

The parking lots could be rearranged for more convenience.
