We also appreciated that the guesthouse was conveniently located on the way to the stunning Dettifoss waterfalls, which made our day trips a breeze. it was a great stay at Grimstunga Guesthouse Road 864 Holsfjollum.

We loved the new building with better facilities and a comfortable room. The kitchen had everything we needed for self-catering, and there were even free cereals for breakfast. The kettle in the hallway was a nice touch. The common room was cozy and had coffee available.

We felt well taken care of during our stay, and nothing was too much trouble.

The staff was flexible and accommodating, keeping the property clean and tidy. The view was stunning and the property had a beautiful Scandinavian countryside charm. The room was upgraded to a private bathroom and was clean and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen.

We had a great stay at a remote guesthouse in Iceland. the location was peaceful and surrounded by spectacular landscapes. the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our time at Grimstunga Guesthouse. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the homestyle atmosphere in the communal kitchen. the hotspring close by was a wonderful bonus, and my wife loved seeing the horses on the property. it was a memorable experience that we would recommend.

I had a fantastic stay at this remote guesthouse. The location was ideal, close to both the Dettifoss waterfall and the start of my next day's travels. Being away from everything at the south end of the national park provided a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The shared kitchen was like a restaurant in itself, with a wide range of cooking options available. Additionally, the staff were friendly and the free WiFi was a nice feature.

One major downside was the lack of bathrooms. With only one bathroom available for four bedrooms, it became quite inconvenient, especially since there were six people staying at the guesthouse during our visit.

Grimstunga Guesthouse Road 864 Holsfjollum was beautifully built and well taken care of. the staff, especially the young and enthusiastic personnel, were very friendly. the guesthouse had all the amenities you could ask for, including a shared kitchen where you could either cook for yourself or enjoy buffet-style breakfast and dinner. the rooms had giant flat screen TVs with Google Chrome cast, and the location was perfect for observing the northern lights. it was a comfortable and clean stay with lovely views.
