Checking in was simple, even though there was no staff present. the room was basic but comfortable, with a bed, basin, and adjustable room heater. the views surrounding the property were absolutely breathtaking, with numerous waterfalls cascading down the nearby hills. the kitchen was well-equipped and the lounge/dining area was cozy. We especially enjoyed the picnic area outside, which offered stunning views of the fjord. the beds and linen were clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the use of eco-friendly soap and paper towels.

It was all superb! 👍🏼

the accommodation was very well organized, with late check-in and early check-out options available. the rooms in the old hospital building were huge and beautiful, and the kitchen was well-equipped. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the showers were really hot, which was perfect after a long day of hiking. the hostel provided lots of information on activities in the area, such as hiking, kayaking tours, and boat trips. the location was great, with a view of the harbor, and the value for money was excellent.

That the hostel was not obvious to find. 😕

The hostel is homely and special, with stunning fjord views. The building is traditional and tidy, with a comfortable bed. The kitchen and living room are well-equipped. The host at the Old Hospital location was lovely and helpful, with beautiful showers and saunas.

We had an amazing stay at this hostel. The view over the fjord was absolutely fantastic, and we loved the cute and comfortable shared kitchen and living/dining space with its stunning fjord views. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making our experience even more enjoyable. Additionally, the hostel's location was perfect - a short walk to the village center but away from the hustle and bustle. The access to a washer/dryer was also a convenient perk.

Couldn't stay longer.

My stay at the hostel was excellent value for money. The room was comfortable and had a heater, which was perfect for the chilly nights. The location was great, with beautiful views of the harbor, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The only thing that could have made the morning meal better was if there were more options available.

During my recent stay at the hostel, I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious eating and sitting area, allowing me to relax and enjoy the beautiful view. The room itself had enough furniture, including a reading lamp and storage, making it feel comfortable and homely. I also appreciated the presence of an electricity socket by every bunk bed and the ample headroom on the lower bunk bed. The big warm blanket provided much-needed warmth.

The hostel is beautiful with a stunning view of the harbour. Great amenities including a reading nook with an extensive library, coffee and tea available, and fresh eggs from the chickens on the property. The kitchen is well-equipped and there is a huge fridge. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing information on hikes and things to see in the area. The hostel is close to town and within walking distance to a local brew pub. It is also very eco-friendly with composting available.
