I had an incredible stay at this holiday home. The owners were extremely kind and helpful, making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived until the day I left. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area, with stunning views of the nearby volcano. The accommodation itself was comfortable, clean, and equipped with everything I needed. Additionally, the high-speed fiber optic internet was a pleasant surprise, allowing me to easily upload all my photos and videos while traveling. I also appreciated the privacy of the property, making it a great choice for couples or families with children.

The cottages were cozy and cute, and the family maintaining them was very friendly and accommodating. The location allowed us to see the northern lights and offered beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The cottages were also modern and well-equipped with everything we needed.

I wish there were more of these homes available throughout the country. I would have liked to have a thermos flask in the kitchen and the option to reuse towels for more than one day.

This remote guesthouse offers stunning views of Icelandic plains and distant mountains. The spacious rooms are clean and modern, equipped with kitchen facilities and Netflix. The helpful hosts live on-site and provide a helpful but unobtrusive service. The location is ideal for exploring the Golden Circle and the south coast attractions like waterfalls, glaciers, and beaches.

Some GPS systems may struggle to locate the guesthouse, so it's advisable to use Google maps instead.

The cottage was perfect for our family. The facilities were well-equipped, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. We loved the stunning views of the surrounding landscape and coming back to a cozy home after a day of exploring. The location was ideal for visiting nearby attractions such as Gulfoss and the Geysir. a fantastic place to stay!

The bathroom was spacious with a fantastic shower. The location was perfect for us, and the view was amazing. The hosts' dogs, Katla and Moi, were super friendly too!

Loved staying in a cozy cabin with a dining area and a sofa bed for 2. The staff was sooo helpful and the patio with mountain views was like, totally amazing.

We especially appreciated the availability of Netflix, which allowed us to have a fun family movie night after a day of exploring. I highly recommend Heima Holiday Homes for a truly unforgettable experience.

The apartment was modern, spacious, and very clean. the large windows provided beautiful views and plenty of natural light, while still maintaining privacy. the internet was incredibly fast, the fastest we've experienced in Iceland. the property was well-built, as we didn't hear any noise from the wind and rain outside. the shower was fantastic, and the geothermally heated floors were a nice touch. We also appreciated having an oven in the kitchen, as it allowed us to cook frozen food from the grocery stores. the location was perfect for exploring both the highlands and the Golden Circle or southern Iceland. We would definitely stay here again.

We were also lucky enough to see the northern lights from the property. it was a wonderful and relaxing stay.

It was a separate building, extremely quiet, and very clean. the hosts were very helpful and the location was perfect, just five minutes off the ring road. the kitchen had all the amenities one could think of, and the shower had great hot water. the beds were comfortable, making it one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. the surrounding area was dark, which is great for seeing the Northern Lights.

We hadden een fantastisch verblijf in dit hotel. De locatie was ideaal, omdat het zeer dichtbij het metrostation lag en in een mooie omgeving lag. Gelukkig waren we erg blij met de faciliteiten van het hotel, zoals het zwembad en het goed uitgebreide ontbijt. Het personeel was uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

The value for money was excellent, with a modern and comfortable room. The location was perfect for a peaceful getaway and the hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating.

As for breakfast offerings, it would be great to have more variety and options.

Heima Holiday Homes was a fantastic stay. The host, Helga, was welcoming and friendly. The location was secluded and peaceful. The property had only 4 units, making it cozy. The kitchen was well-equipped. Perfect for sightseeing and hiking in the Golden Circle area. Highly recommended!

It was close to the golden circle attractions, yet nestled in a remote area where we were even able to witness the mesmerizing Aurora Borealis. the owners were extremely kind and helpful, making our experience even more enjoyable. We can't wait to come back soon!
