As a budget traveler, I loved the cozy and comfortable interior of the hostel, which felt like a magical fairy tale house. The staff were friendly and responsive, and the mattresses were very comfortable. The large kitchen had everything I needed to prepare my own meals, and the fast internet was a bonus. The view from the windows was breathtaking, with a high mountain face in the front and hot springs on the edge of a huge lake in the back. There were even 10 horses grazing nearby, adding to the charm of the place. The thermal swimming pool on the lake's edge was a perfect way to relax after a day of exploring.

I felt really welcomed and had no complaints at all.

I recently stayed at a charming boutique hostel located near Fontana. The staff was incredibly friendly and the food was delicious. The hostel had a unique exterior that caught our attention and the interior was beautifully decorated. The shared bathrooms were clean and had great water pressure. I appreciated the small touches like having sugar provided in the kitchen. Although we didn't get to experience the aurora service, it was a thoughtful gesture. The location was perfect for exploring the Golden Circle and the view over the lake was lovely. I had a fantastic stay at this boutique hostel.

We absolutely loved staying at this boutique hostel. The hotel facilities were fantastic, with a beautiful decoration inside that created a cozy and unique atmosphere. The large common areas, including a splendid living room and a big library, provided ample space for relaxation and socializing. The staff was very kind and helpful, giving us great advice on our itinerary. Additionally, the location of the hotel was perfect, as it was nestled in the mountains and offered breathtaking views of the lake. It was also conveniently situated near all the key sights, such as Gulfoss and the Þingvellir national park.

One advantage that I really enjoyed was the opportunity to walk barefoot in the lobby, which added to the homely feeling of the place.
