This hotel is an amazing retreat that offers value for money. The location, on a hill overlooking a river, is incredible. I loved the peaceful environment on a working farm with views of the fjords. The staff's attention to detail was impressive, and everything was local, from the basic amenities to the breakfast with views across the marshes. The rooms were beautifully designed with character, and the huge windows allowed for a nice view of the surroundings.

During my Xmas stay, I enjoyed the beautiful views and the cozy atmosphere of the accommodation. the free hot chocolate and cookies gave a warm welcome to the guests. the location was ideal for those who love being away from the noise of the city. It was a great escape to unwind and relax.

Although the scenery was breathtaking, the fact that there were no nearby restaurants made it difficult to try out other dishes besides the ones offered at the hotel restaurant. there were no activities available to celebrate the Christmas holidays, which made the stay dull and boring.

The location was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the river valley. The rooms all had private decks, perfect for enjoying a bottle of wine and soaking in the surroundings. We were fortunate enough to see the northern lights right from the back patio, adding to the magical experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming, providing great service and answering any questions about the area.

The new section of the hotel seemed incomplete, with some issues like electrical wires sticking out of the porch and a lack of mirrors in the rooms. The pillows were hard and lumpy, and the bathroom had hair and Bobby pins on the floor.
