We had an amazing stay at this wonderful place with a very welcoming host. the highlight of our stay was being able to see the northern lights each night while relaxing in the warm hot tub in front of the lake. We even had the incredible experience of seeing shooting stars right from our bedroom. the homemade food and breakfast were prepared with care and were absolutely delicious. We can't recommend this place enough - it truly felt like a cozy nest that was hard to leave. the view from our room was incredible, especially since we had a room on the lake side. the hotel staff were lovely and provided the best breakfast we had in Iceland. this hotel in a beautiful location exceeded our expectations.

My Thanksgiving stay was amazing! the view from my room was simply breathtaking and the hot tubs were a real highlight. the food was so delicious, especially since they offered complimentary bathrobes and slippers. the location was perfect, only a short distance away from the town center but still peaceful and quiet. I couldn't have asked for a more relaxing holiday.

The shower in my room was poorly designed and ended up wetting the entire bathroom. This was a bit inconvenient, but I still managed to enjoy my stay despite this minor issue.
