Though we encountered some minor inconveniences, such as the need to log in to WiFi each time we returned to the hotel and a slightly overpriced experience, these do not overshadow the overall positive experience. We highly recommend Tamarind Village for those seeking a peaceful and authentic stay in Chiang Mai.

I stayed at this unique hotel for a much-needed rest after lots of travelling. The staff were cordial, always smiling, and very helpful. The hotel had a blend of old school charm decor and natural beauty, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The swimming pool was a popular spot for foreigners to soak in the sun and enjoy a good book. The common veranda in front of our room had a two-century-old tamarind tree, giving it a peaceful and serene setting. my stay at this hotel was perfect, and I enjoyed every moment of it.

The staff were incredibly professional and helpful, providing excellent customer service and sincere hospitality. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The amenities were top-notch, with a spa and wellness center, a swimming pool, and a jacuzzi that allowed us to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. The restaurant and bar were also fantastic, serving delicious food and drinks with live music to create a delightful atmosphere.

Lovely place in the old city. The staff are wonderful and the food is excellent. Because we booked late during high season, the only available rooms were the cheap ones. They were much too small and not good value, but very high quality. I suspect the better rooms are wonderful and would stay here again, but not in the cheap rooms. The included village walk to nearby temples is well worth doing, and the free 10 minute massage is a bonus. The staff arranged a taxi to take me to the winter palace and Doi Suthep on the last morning when I was under time pressure, and it worked like clockwork. The ambience of the hotel is peaceful and relaxing, the architecture a constant delight.
