As a music and film fan, I loved the fabulous artwork and stylish design of Dynheimar. The guitar and record player in the room added a special touch for my husband's birthday. The view from our room was amazing, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Despite being quiet, the hotel was just a short walk from the town.

I can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

Pros from the database: I stayed at the newly open section off Hótel Akureyri called Dynheimar and it completely blew my mind. The design is fantastic and boutique, even the small rooms are perfectly designed and cozy with the best hair products available. The rates are very fair and the location is perfect for downtown Akureyri. Clearly the best stay you can get in the whole of the North of Iceland.

The hotel room was small but stylish, with a surprise gramophone and fashionable decor. The breakfast was incredibly good with fresh products. The service was also satisfactory, offering parking and a convenient location close to the city center.

They went out of their way to make me a breakfast package for my early tour pick up and answered all my questions. the modern design and cleanliness of the room impressed me, and the shampoo offered was high quality. I also appreciated the option to enjoy fresh air from the open fire stairs.

Although the room was stylish and clean, the bed was large and took up a lot of floor space. I would have preferred more room to move around.
