The room was clean and tastefully decorated, blending charming original features with modern design details. The attention to detail was evident with a nice mix of handcrafted items and fancy accessories. The staff, especially Ivar, were welcoming and informative, providing a personal history of the hotel and the life of an Icelander. The breakfast, although not included, was a nice treat with fresh fruit and a great selection. The location in the center of town was ideal, and the view from our room overlooking the harbor was stunning.

We particularly enjoyed the complimentary hot chocolate and the opportunity to mingle with other guests in the common room. the location was also fantastic, with great restaurants nearby and easy access to key attractions in the area.

We did have a few minor disappointments during our stay. the room we booked was smaller than anticipated, which made it a bit cramped for our liking.
