I had a wonderful time horseback riding with Eldhestar. The tour guide was helpful and the horses were well-cared for. The ride was breathtaking and the hot drink break was a nice touch. I recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at Eldhestar in Hveragerdi for a few days. The location was fantastic and easy to find, just an hour's drive from the airport. The check-in process was quick and hassle-free. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a large bathroom with adjustable temperature. The breakfast was surprisingly delicious with a wide variety of options including waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh fruits, and more. The staff was friendly and accommodating. a great bargain and an excellent choice for my first trip to Iceland.

The staff were friendly and the facilities were well-maintained. We loved the horse farm and the access to walking trails. a great experience!

I highly recommend this hotel - it was one of the best on my tour of Iceland.

During my city break, I decided to go for a horseback riding tour and it was a great experience! the horses were gentle and the guides took care of us throughout the entire ride. the landscape was beautiful and we had the chance to cross a river. the tour also included a warm and hearty lunch which was perfect to warm up after the chilly ride.

The tour felt a bit crowded and rushed, with many groups going for rides one after the other and not much emphasis on a personalized experience. the tour guide did not provide much commentary or information about the area, which was a bit disappointing as I wanted to learn more about the Icelandic nature.

Parking was easy and we felt welcomed from the moment we received the first email reply.

During my Easter stay, I absolutely loved the spacious and quiet rooms at the hotel. They may not have had any fancy frills, but they provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location of the hotel was also a major plus, as it was conveniently situated close to Reykjavik but far enough to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city. Additionally, the fact that the hotel had a hot tub was a great bonus. I enjoyed being able to relax and soak in the tub, especially under the beautiful starry sky.

One aspect that I didn't particularly enjoy was the cost of the dinner at the hotel. It seemed a bit expensive, especially when compared to other dining options.
