We got amazing value for our money at Hotel Laekur. The room was comfortable and spacious, with a cozy bed and all the necessary amenities. The location was breathtaking, surrounded by nature and with stunning views. The staff treated us like family, always friendly and welcoming.

The breakfast experience would have been even better if it started at 7 am instead of 8 am. It would have allowed us to get an early start, especially considering the unpredictable weather and road conditions in Iceland.

We stayed at a delightful country hotel called Laekur and had an amazing experience. As we arrived, dinner was being cooked and the menu was great, with tasty food. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, which adds to the delightful natural ambience. The receptionist/co-owner gave us a tour and we were so impressed that we wanted to hug them. Staying here helped us forget the stresses of modern life and reconnect with what's important. It truly is a cozy family-run B&B with beautiful countryside scenery.

He not only showed us to our room but also checked with the chef to see if they could accommodate us for dinner, as we arrived late. The room was spacious with a clean bathroom, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was decent and satisfying. The sauna and jacuzzi were a great way to relax, and the family dog was a delight to play with.

The road leading to the hotel was not well-maintained, which made transportation difficult.
