The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the staff even provided daily weather updates and interesting facts about Iceland. Additionally, they helped me navigate the bus schedule for my airport transfer. a fantastic experience!

For those looking to stay in a quiet residential area, this hotel is the perfect choice. Located on the main shopping street, it offers easy access to the city centre. The rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable, with elegant and unique decor. The breakfast, although lacking in variety, is served on a platter and is of good quality. The staff provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making guests feel at home. Facilities include British programs on the television, ensuring entertainment during your stay.

The hotel was in a fantastic location, making it easy to walk everywhere. There were also grocery stores close by which was super convenient. Another great aspect was that all the excursion pick-ups were from a bus stop just a 2-minute walk away.

One downside was the breakfast timing, as it was only from 7.30 to 9.30. This didn't work well for me as I had two early morning excursions and missed breakfast by a few minutes.

Although I have nothing major to complain about, it would have been nice to have the option to boil a kettle in my room. However, this minor inconvenience did not take away from the overall excellent experience at Hotel Phoenix.

This hotel was exactly what we were looking for. It's close enough to everything in the city that you don't feel like it's a chore getting there, but far enough away that you feel like you're going home for the night. The staff were absolutely fabulous and incredibly helpful, often going out of their way to get us exactly what we're looking for. Daily breakfast was also wonderful and filling. It was a joy to stay here and we look forward to repeating the experience next time we're in town.

The location was close to the city centre, a bus stop, and within walking distance of the bus terminal. The breakfast offered tasty options and catered to vegetarians and vegans.
