The value for money at this hotel was great, and the room was comfortable and warm. The location was perfect, with a view of the glacier tongue just outside our window and only a short distance to the glacier lagoon. The staff were amazing, helpful, and professional, making our stay even better.

The location of the hotel was absolutely stunning. Situated in the heart of nature, we were surrounded by breathtaking views and had easy access to hiking trails and the glacier. It was the perfect destination for a romantic escape. the rooms, although basic, were clean and had nice amenities. We were pleasantly surprised by the comfortable beds and the hot showers, which were exactly what we needed after a long day of exploring. - One of the best aspects of our stay was the friendly and efficient staff. From check-in to being seated in the restaurant, they were always helpful and made us feel welcome.

The prices at the restaurant were a bit on the higher side. While the food was tasty and there were plenty of options, we did feel that it was a bit overpriced.

The hotel had a great location, close to the Troll Expedition Glacier Hike and Glacier Lagoon Boat Ride. It was convenient to be able to walk to these attractions. Additionally, the lounge area had a Keurig-like coffee machine that brewed some of the best coffee I've ever had. It was a perfect way to start the day. Finally, the room was clean and comfortable, ensuring a pleasant stay.

The hotel felt a bit outdated and in need of renovation. the decor was not up to par with modern standards, which was a bit disappointing considering the price of the hotel.

Great views from the newer block at the back of the hotel, and the breakfast was wonderful with delicious bacon. Convenient petrol station with reasonably priced food just across the road.

As longer-term business travelers, we loved the warm and clean rooms at Hotel Skaftafell. The breakfast spread was excellent and the staff was very kind, offering helpful suggestions based on the weather conditions. The hotel's convenient location and the beautiful trail behind it leading to the glacier added to the overall experience.

I recently had an amazing stay at a hotel in the stunning Skaftafell area. The location was perfect, with a breathtaking glacier right behind the property. The room was clean, warm, and comfortable, with a flat-screen TV and a small but powerful shower. The staff were incredibly helpful and the breakfast provided a great selection. The highlight was definitely the view of the glacier, although the low-lying mist unfortunately obstructed it a bit.

The lack of certain facilities such as a fridge and laundry facilities, which would have been convenient during our stay.
