We got great value for our money with a spacious room and a beautiful view of the waterfalls. The location was perfect, right next to Skogafoss and close to other attractions like the DC3 plane wreck. The staff were friendly and even provided gluten-free bread upon request.

The morning meal could have been better with an improvement on the orange juice.

Free parking was available right in front of the hotel. We were lucky enough to witness the Northern Lights during our stay. The hotel's location was convenient, being just a short walk from the waterfall and easily accessible from the main road.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Skogafoss hotel. The receptionist was helpful and communication was smooth. The room was comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated. The restaurant had an amazing view of Skogafoss waterfall, and the food was delicious. The staff in the restaurant provided excellent service. The hotel offered free parking and was conveniently located near hiking trails and Skogar Museum. We even had the incredible bonus of witnessing the northern lights during our stay.

The coffee machine is always available with free tea and coffee. Being adventure travelers, we appreciated the proximity to Skogafoss waterfall and the ability to beat the tourist bus by walking there in the morning. I was able to visit it in the afternoon and return later for a breathtaking sunset. The hotel is conveniently situated right next to Skogafoss, allowing me to walk over whenever the lighting was perfect for my photographs. It was also just a 25-minute drive from Dyrhólaey and Vik, making it an ideal base for exploring the southern coast. The rooms and bathrooms were comfortable and well-maintained, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.
