We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. The hotel itself was modern and clean, with a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and the croissants were especially tasty. The location of the hotel was fantastic, as it was a short walk to the Skogafoss waterfall and a great starting point for exploring the Fimmvoduhals trek, Vik, the black sand beach, and other beautiful waterfalls in the area.

I recently stayed at Hotel Skoga in beautiful South Iceland for a few nights. The staff was incredibly friendly and the breakfast spread was delicious, with a variety of meats, cheeses, eggs, and pastries. I also loved the convenience of being within sight of the magnificent Skogafoss waterfall. The room had a lovely view of grazing sheep in a nearby field, making for a cozy and picturesque stay. The geothermal hot water did have a strong sulfur smell, but this was a common occurrence in many places we stayed in Iceland.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had our wedding ceremony at Gjain and stayed in a deluxe room at Hotel Skogar that night. The staff was welcoming and had wine chilled in our room. Room was beautiful, breakfast was amazing, and the location was fabulous. The young man at the front desk was beyond helpful, carrying our suitcases and providing us with bread and butter. The hotel was difficult to find, but the restaurant sign helps. We will return if we venture to Iceland again.

The hotel is excellent value for money, with basic amenities offered at great prices. The staff are attentive and provide excellent service. The location is fantastic, with views of the Skogafoss waterfall and the mountains. The rooms are clean with lovely views and come with their own bathroom and bathrobes. Breakfast with traditional Iceland foods is included and there's even bacon and egg served.

Our stay at Skoga By Ej Hotels was absolutely delightful. The location was breathtaking, with the magnificent Skogafoss waterfall just a minute's drive away. The staff was incredibly friendly and provided us with excellent recommendations for off-the-beaten-path attractions and how to spot the Aurora. The food at the restaurant was top-notch, both for dinner and the included breakfast. our experience was wonderful and we highly recommend staying here.

We spent our Xmas holiday in a hotel in South Iceland and loved the inclusive breakfast and complimentary hot tub and sauna. The proximity to the famous waterfall and breathtaking starry nights were an added bonus, making it perfect for nature lovers.

The shower and washbasin area was too small and uncomfortable to use comfortably and the picture of the deluxe room we booked was not like the one we received, leading to disappointment and unpleasantness with the staff.

Stayed here over Christmas. Great location close to a popular waterfall, and walking distance to a museum and a secret waterfall. The room had large windows with beautiful views. It was nice to wake up to the scenery. The restaurant served tasty food for both dinner and breakfast. The hot tub and sauna were an added bonus on a chilly night.

Check-in was a bit annoying as we had to wait outside in the rain until exactly 3pm. The WiFi signal in our room was weak, so we had to go to the dining room for internet access.
