I loved waking up to the stunning mountain views right outside my window. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Breakfast was simple but satisfying, and the unique vibe of the hotel added to my experience.

While the location was perfect for exploring, the breakfast selection was a bit limited for my taste. I also found the decor to be a little mismatched, but it added a quirky charm to the atmosphere.

The location was ideal with parking right outside, making it easy to access. The studio was spacious and remarkably quiet, perfect for a relaxing stay, while the staff went above and beyond to be welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast featured delightful options, though it could have had a wider selection. The beds were incredibly comfy, contributing to a restful night’s sleep, and we appreciated the clean, accessible room.

I had an excellent stay! The homemade lamb soup was a highlight, and the cozy game room made for fun evenings. I wish breakfast had more options, though.

the hotel had some charm, but oh boy, the shower hose leaked and the bathroom was downright terrifying with slippery floors. not to mention, I booked at a certain rate and got charged twice as much—seriously? a gesture of appreciation would’ve been nice, but guess I couldn't expect that here. almost gave you guys a good review, but just couldn’t.

The room was spacious and comfy, with a nice little kitchenette. It felt cozy overall, and I loved the local vibes at the bar! Supermarket and KFC nearby for those late-night cravings.

The water tasted like it was auditioning for a sulfur commercial—yikes! And don’t even get me started on the TV. it was as dead as my hopes of watching a movie!

this hotel is super nice! found some amazing food options really close, like a bakery and supermarkets. we even spotted the northern lights from our room's balcony, which was so cool! the staff was friendly and helpful, making the stay even better. breakfast was totally decent with yummy waffles!

the pillows could use an upgrade since they were kinda old, and the fridge was really loud, making it hard to sleep.

Awesome Stay with a Stunning View!

The mountain views were killer. Super cozy room, and the breakfast had yummy waffles that my daughter absolutely loved. A bit of a letdown was the breakfast selection—kinda basic. We even spotted the Northern Lights from our balcony, which was a major highlight!

laxnes is in a beautiful area just outside of the hustle of reykjavik. the room was quiet, clean, and warm, with a unique ceiling window allowing a stunning view of the aurora on my first night! shaun, the manager, was incredibly helpful and added to the great experience. perfect for those interested in horse riding and local knitting workshops nearby.
