One minor downside is that it may be difficult to go anywhere without a taxi, as the hotel is slightly further away from the main downtown area.

This hotel is located in a quiet area outside the center of Reykjavik, making it ideal for a peaceful stay. The rooms are well equipped with adequate bathroom facilities and the breakfast had a few local specialties which were served on very nice plates, with decent offerings for vegans.

I recently stayed at Nordurey Hotel City Garden for a few nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is new and modern, with a comfortable bed and a great shower. The Wi-Fi connection was excellent and I was able to work without any disruptions. The hotel had a calm and peaceful environment, perfect for relaxation. The staff, especially the young ladies, were all very nice and helpful. They even put up a delicious breakfast buffet every morning. In my room, there was a little refrigerator where I could keep my own snacks, which was a bonus. I had a great stay and would definitely go back.

Stayed at this hotel for a weekend and had a lovely experience. the parking was great and it was easy to find the hotel. the breakfasts were excellent with a great selection. There was also a fantastic coffee machine in the lounge. the best aspect of the hotel was the clean rooms and the fact that there was a fridge and a safe in each room.

Soundproofing could be better.

I recently stayed at the newly refurbished Nordurey Hotel and had a fantastic experience. The modern design, neatness, and cleanliness of the hotel were impressive. The keyless entry system provided convenience and peace of mind. The warm and cozy rooms made for a comfortable stay. The breakfast options were fresh and the coffee was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful, and having access to Netflix and YouTube on the TV was a great bonus.
