We had a great value for our money at Siglunes. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a nice view of the streets and town. The location was convenient, near restaurants and a bakery. The staff treated us like family, providing friendly service and helpful recommendations.

This hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of a charming fishing town. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the center of town and with a lovely harbor just a stone's throw away. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms, even the ones without private facilities, were spacious and creatively furnished with unique and interesting pieces. We were fortunate enough to have been upgraded to a room with a private bath, which was a delightful surprise. Breakfast, served at the nearby bakery, was a delicious treat with locally sourced fish and a variety of herring dishes to choose from. It truly added to our experience and made us feel like locals.

Delightfully decorated and charming hotel with a warm and wonderful staff. the evening meal in the restaurant was terrific, and the bed was very comfortable. the hotel also provided light-blocking blinds, which was a great advantage during the long summer daylight of Iceland.

The walls between rooms were thin, making it easy to hear the neighbors. However, the hotel did provide ear plugs to help with the noise.

The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. The staff members were incredibly welcoming and even gave us a cell phone number for any emergencies. The view of the mountains from the room was breathtaking, allowing me to wake up to a picturesque scene every morning. Additionally, the hotel's location near the center of town was perfect, making it easy to explore and enjoy the charming surroundings.

Moreover, the restaurant on-site served delicious food, further adding to the enjoyment of our stay.

There were a couple of negative aspects to my experience. Firstly, the glass-walled bathroom didn't offer much privacy, which might be a concern for some guests.

During my Easter vacation, I had a pleasant stay in a boutique hotel with a cozy atmosphere. I appreciated the friendly staff who offered me complementary services like laundry and fridge storage. the breakfast had a diverse selection of local foods, and I enjoyed the outdoor hot tub with a fabulous view of the mountains. the hotel's location in the beautiful fjord region was perfect for exploring the surrounding nature and experiencing the traditional local culture.

My room was small, only had one chair, and lacked a table to sit at or put things on. the shared toilet had some uncomfortable features, such as a loose seat and an empty hand-towel basket.
