My recent stay at Silica Hotel At Blue Lagoon Iceland was exceptional. The staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant experience throughout my visit. The room was clean and comfortable, equipped with Blue Lagoon toiletries that added a luxurious touch. Additionally, the hotel offers a Northern Lights alarm call service, alerting guests when the lights are visible. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and relaxing stay.

Although the hotel offers limited dining choices, the proximity to several excellent restaurants and stores in Grindavik compensates for this. Additionally, the rooms could benefit from better soundproofing, as noise from neighboring guests and the corridor is noticeable.

The price was high, but worth it. Excellent service from staff. Complimentary welcome drink and robes. Cozy lounge with beautiful views. Private lagoon was better than the main one. On-demand taxi service to nearby attractions. A highlight of our honeymoon. No regrets!

The hotel is located away from the main lagoon, providing a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. Guests can enjoy the stunning views of the private lagoon, mountains, and moss covered volcanic landscapes from the cozy lounge area. The hotel offers an on-demand taxi service, making it convenient to travel between the hotel and the lagoon. The staff provide exceptional service, pampering guests with multiple welcome drinks, robes, and slippers. Additionally, the breakfast is delicious and the variety of options is perfect.

There could have been a small cafe open during the rest of the day for guests who did not want to go to the restaurant at the blue lagoon, or an additional food service option for those who prefer to stay in for the night.

Our romantic escape was absolutely fantastic! the staff were superb and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. the room was spotless and the toiletries provided were a luxurious touch. We especially enjoyed the private lagoon which was much larger than we anticipated. the lounge area with its cozy chairs and blankets made for a relaxing experience while taking in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

The breakfast options were a bit limited and lacked variety. we wished there was a cafe open outside of meal times for those who didn't feel like going out to eat.

The hotel offers a complimentary entry to Blue Lagoon, but I found that the thermal bath at the hotel itself was even nicer. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the welcome drinks were a lovely touch. I especially enjoyed the cozy lounge area with comfortable chairs and blankets, offering breathtaking views of the private lagoon, mountains, and volcanic landscape. The private lagoon was larger than I expected and felt very private, with a bar for added convenience. this hotel exceeded my expectations and was the highlight of my trip.

I would highly recommend this hotel for families as well.
