We were greeted with a warm welcome at Skyrhusid Hi. the room was well-appointed and comfortable, and the communal kitchen had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the delicious cake that was available for all guests. the location, with the sea in front and mountains behind, was truly beautiful. Plus, being just a short drive away from the glacier lagoon was a definite bonus.

We had a great stay at Skyrhusid Hi! the host of the guesthouse was incredibly friendly and helpful. She even baked delicious cakes for us every day, and they were free of charge! the kitchen was clean and cozy, with all the necessary amenities. the rooms were clean and quiet, and the bathrooms were also well-maintained. We couldn't have asked for a better experience - we would definitely return!

the location was ideal, just a short 10-minute drive from Jokulsarlon Lagoon. the staff were extremely friendly and made me feel right at home. My room on the upstairs floor was clean and spacious, with a beautiful wooden ceiling. It even had a sitting area and sink, which was a nice added bonus. the guest house also provided free Skyr , juice, coffee, tea, and even had a fully equipped kitchen with utensils. the view from my window was breathtaking, and I loved waking up to it every morning. I would highly recommend Skyrhusid Hi for anyone visiting the glacier lagoon or the diamond beach.

The room was spacious and had effective blinds and curtains to block out the midnight sun. The owner, Julie, was kind and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. I had a fantastic stay at Skyrhusid Hi! The view from the window was absolutely breathtaking, and the beds were so comfortable. Even though the kitchen was small, my friends and I managed to cook and eat dinner together. Plus, there was free skyr, juice, milk, and even cake provided! The water didn't smell. Being so close to the glacier allows for easy access to thrilling adventures and unforgettable experiences.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, being near the shore and close to the Vatnajokull glacier. It was also very near to the Jokulsarlon blue lagoon, which was convenient for our early slot for the blue cave tour. The cleanliness of the guesthouse was impeccable, and the spacious twin bed room we stayed in was lovely. The shared bathrooms were clean, and the shower pressure was great. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The communal cooking/dining space was suitable for our needs, and we appreciated the coffee machine, tea selection, and complimentary skyr provided for guests.

I recently stayed at Skyrhusid Hi for a short getaway. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, allowing us to oversleep on the check out morning without any issues. The guesthouse itself was cozy and beautiful, and I only wish we had more time to spend there. The rooms were warm and comfortable, and despite the shared bathrooms, they were always clean. The location, nestled between the mountains and the ocean, was incredibly peaceful. Plus, the Icelandic girl who showed us in was lovely and had great tips about the area.

The room was very nice, with a washbasin and ample space for luggage and wet clothes. Both the room and bathroom were clean, and the property is conveniently located just a 10-minute drive from Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. Additionally, the free coffee, juice, and skyr provided downstairs were a nice touch, especially since breakfast was not included.

We did not have the opportunity to meet any staff members during our stay. Upon arrival, we found a post-it note with our name and room number on the reception table, and we had to provide credit card information via email later to pay, which was not ideal.
