I had a wonderful stay at the Eco-Village Guesthouse in Sólheimar. The manager/staff were excellent at communicating with us before our trip and even offered us a discounted rate. The guesthouses were quiet and peaceful, and the shared kitchen was spacious and well-equipped. I enjoyed taking walks in the nearby woodland and purchasing locally baked goods from the village shop. The staff were kind and welcoming, and their recommendation saved us from a snowstorm on our trip.

we visited solheimar before but this time, the eco-village guesthouse blew us away. the spacious rooms, well-equipped kitchen, and beautiful veranda made our honeymoon extra special. the homemade artisanal handsoap was a nice touch, and the woodland walk around the grounds was so peaceful. the breakfast was delicious and the café was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a coffee. it was truly the best place we stayed in iceland.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in a lovely sheltered valley. The location was so quiet and peaceful, perfect for an evening walk. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even coming to our aid when we had a hot water mishap. The rooms were well-equipped with everything we needed, including a kitchen area where we could cook our own meals. On top of that, the breakfast provided was simple but tasty, with a variety of options waiting for us in the fridge. The attention to detail and the value for money were truly impressive.

During my Easter break, I stayed in a guesthouse that had two complementary facts on arrival - delicious coffee and an impressive fruit basket. The location of the guesthouse was great and just a short drive away from some of my favorite attractions. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating during our stay.

Sadly, the guesthouse was difficult to find and had poor signage. I was also disappointed by the basic amenities available, as they did not meet my expectations.
