Empire Hotel - Grant Road is conveniently located near Grant Road station. the manager, Narinder, is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. the rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast is a nice touch. the staff is helpful and attentive, making for a pleasant stay.

Slept like a log; I'm a light sleeper—but nothing a few earplugs couldn't solve. With a train station nearby, you'd think the noise would be bad, right? No sleepless nights for me. Quick check-in thanks to Narinder, a gem. Spacious, clean rooms with comfy beds. Soap that smelled so good, I almost ate it. Simple breakfast hit the spot. If I return to India, Empire Hotel gets my vote—no doubt.

Great location near main attractions and walking distance to Colaba. Helpful and friendly staff, provided a choice of rooms upon check-in. Spotlessly clean rooms and bathrooms with hot water. Simple breakfast of tea and toast served until 10:30am.

No social area and limited wifi in the bedrooms, causing crowded hallways. Miscommunication about arranging airport pick-up, resulting in higher taxi fare.

I stayed at Empire Hotel in Mumbai for two nights and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. I also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, especially the good coffee. The hotel's location was convenient, with taxis readily available and Chor Bazaar within walking distance. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the back of the hotel was quiet and peaceful, away from the noise of the traffic.
