The motel is in a great location, right in town and close to everything. You can easily find a parking spot on the overflow bay on the edge of the street. Plus, it's conveniently next to the museum. The room itself has all the basics covered, including a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom.

My stay at Trails Motel in Lone Pine was fantastic! I stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The bed was incredibly comfortable with soft sheets and blankets. The check-in process was hassle-free, and I appreciated having a remote control for the a/c. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, and the plumbing worked perfectly. The motel itself was very cute and everything was impeccably clean. The location was excellent, with easy access to Alabama Hills and Mt Whitney portal road. I also loved that the Eastern Sierra Visitor Center and Western Film History Museum were just a stone's throw away. The staff was friendly and overall, my experience at Trails Motel was lovely!

As a budget traveler, I appreciated the attention to detail in the recent updates at this motel. The inclusion of USB outlets in the light bar above the beds was a nice touch. The AC was fast and cool, and the pool offered a great place to relax and enjoy the stunning view of Mt. Whitney. The manager, Ish, went above and beyond to accommodate our reservation change without any additional charges. We also noticed that Ish took the time to help clean rooms, drive way, and the onsite laundry, showing a genuine care for the hotel and its guests.
