I had a wonderful stay at a charming homestay in Thekkady. The room was basic but clean, and it had a lovely balcony overlooking a beautiful garden. The peaceful ambiance of the garden made it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Plus, the location was fantastic, as it was very close to the Periyar Tiger Reserve. I could even walk to the ticketing counter and boarding point for the park buses. The host was also extremely helpful, providing us with great tips for sightseeing. The hot water was available round the clock, and the property description and photos were accurate, which is always refreshing. I had a lovely experience during my stay.

The only minor drawback was that the parking situation could get a bit congested during busy season. Sometimes vehicles would be parked in front of my car, or I would have to park in front of others.
