my recent stay at a beach town hostel in varkala was everything i could have hoped for and more. the welcoming and friendly atmosphere, comfy accommodations, and engaging staff made my short break unforgettable. hostelexp, varkala truly exceeded my expectations in every way.

The room with a balcony and garden view was such a cozy retreat, perfect for morning coffees. the kettle in the unit was a lifesaver for my tea cravings. the private bathroom with a shower was a nice touch for quick refreshments. All in all, felt like a home away from home!

Wishing the stovetop in the room had more cooking options.

I had a fun time at HostelExp, meeting great people and exploring beautiful Varkala. The staff need some improvement, but Sunil was a standout. The loud music and lack of AC in the dorm were a bit bothersome. a good spot for social travelers, just be cautious of Goodwin's behavior.

The hostel had awesome vibes, a chill atmosphere, and cool people to hang out with. the location was lit, with easy access to nearby spots. Plus, the staff was super friendly and the kitchen was a big win for cooking and sharing food!

Would've loved more late-night party vibes for us young folks.

the staff, especially Sunil & Godwin, made me feel like part of their family. the daily activities, clean rooms, and cozy common areas created a welcoming atmosphere. Truly a home away from home. Can't wait to return!

I stayed in this place for a while, and it felt like a cool hangout spot with nice vibes. Met some cool peeps and shared meals together. the place had a cozy feel, good for chilling indoors when the weather was too hot outside. there were these cute puppies around that were just adorable and always down for cuddles. It's the kind of place where you don't wanna leave, like ever. Definitely a spot I'd hit up again for some good times. 🐶

My 14-day stay at Hostelexp was absolutely amazing. The hostel staff and fellow travelers made the trip special, creating a lively and exciting atmosphere with their regular events. The hostel is perfectly located, close to all the spots in town, and Goodwin and Atif were always available to help with anything we needed, from surfing and yoga to recommendations for restaurants and bars. The owner and all the people who work there are truly incredible, being extremely hospitable, kind, and passionate about meeting travelers and sharing their culture. The hostel is very clean, with a nice socializing space and a proper kitchen for cooking. it was an incredible experience with great vibes and very nice interactions. Thanks to Goodwin for his kindness and help.

Hostel EXP in Varkala is an incredible hostel with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The owners are cool guys who are always ready to help. The common areas are spacious and filled with games and activities. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beach and surrounded by restaurants. The rooms are clean and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay.
