The location is perfect - close to the lake and the bus stand, yet tucked away enough for a peaceful night's sleep. We were pleasantly surprised when we checked in and were given the option to choose between two rooms of the same price category. The room was spotlessly clean, with fresh sheets and towels provided without us even asking. The bed was comfortable and there was hot water available at all times. The rooftop restaurant had a great atmosphere and the food was delicious, plus the staff were friendly and spoke good English. We even extended our stay without any hassle. Everest offers great value for its price.
