The cozy room with a balcony and a tea/coffee maker made me feel at home. the heritage decor gave a true taste of India, and the rooftop sunset views were breathtaking.

We loved the heritage-style decorated rooms at Meerana, giving us a real Indian vibe. the convenient location near the Trainstation, lake, and Fort allowed us to explore by foot easily. the kind reception staff organized a taxi for us to visit sights outside the city, such as the haunted Ghost Village and Royal Chatri. Breakfast on the rooftop with a view of the sunset over the Fort was breathtaking.

Staying at Meerana was a delightful experience during our 5-month Asian journey. the large, clean room, comfortable bed, and 24/7 hot water were highlights. the location outside the fort provided an authentic experience with easy access to attractions and delicious dining options like First Gate restaurant. the attentive staff, especially Rajab Khan, ensured we felt like family, even arranging medical assistance promptly. The rooftop lounge offered stunning views, and the proximity to major sites made exploring convenient. Cons: Would recommend this hotel.

The hotel had a beautiful exterior and the staff were very helpful. Its location was convenient, being close to both the lake and the fort. I also appreciated the fact that there was a hostel nearby where I could socialize with other guests and get recommendations for places to visit.

The curtains in my room did not cover the entire window, which meant I had to find a private spot to get dressed. if you are sensitive to animal welfare, it may be better to choose a different hotel as there were caged chickens directly in front of the hotel that were being prepared for meat.
