The rooftop area is sometimes rented out to outside groups, which can disappoint guests as it limits the availability of this space during hot afternoons.

We had a fantastic time at a small hotel in Varkala. The location was perfect, just a few minutes from the beach and cliff path. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice outside balcony area. We also enjoyed the yoga classes on the rooftop. The owners were friendly and provided lots of information about the area. They even offered a 24-hour taxi service. we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location, just a stone's throw from the beach. There was easy access to cafes, restaurants, and shops. the staff was fairly friendly and they did make an effort to make our stay comfortable. We liked the rooftop terrace with enough space to relax and enjoy the sea breeze.

The property had no clear signs to direct you to the hotel. the bathroom was quite substandard with the hot water coming only through buckets.

We had a fantastic stay at a beachfront resort. the location was perfect, just steps away from the beach and the main strip with shops and restaurants. the staff were friendly and helpful, assisting us with organizing a taxi to the airport. the budget double room we stayed in was spacious and clean. the common areas were great, the bed was comfy, and the laundry facility was a plus. We also enjoyed the 24/7 availability of hot water for tea and coffee, as well as the good Wi-Fi. it was excellent value for money and we would definitely stay here again.
