Beautiful colonial building in a peaceful water setting. Staff provided exceptional service and kept us updated on animal sightings. View from sun loungers allowed us to see elephants, bison, deer, and even a tiger. Would definitely recommend for an exceptional experience.

The relaxing garden area at Lake Palace provided a serene escape for me and my family, enhancing our overall enjoyment. the nearby landmarks like the Musical Fountain Thekkady and Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary added a touch of adventure and family bonding to our stay. An enriching experience amidst historical charm and natural beauty, highly recommend! .

Nothing to dislike.

Spent Xmas holiday at a scenic hotel surrounded by wildlife. The staff provided exceptional service, keeping us informed about animals and boat ride schedules. The location of the hotel was excellent and the rooms were large and spacious. We enjoyed the serene ambience and stepping into a more tranquil age. Additionally, there were not many rooms, so it was a quiet place to stay where we could watch the animals across the water.

The hotel was not well-maintained and felt institutionalised, with staff who could do a better job and cleanliness not up to standards. The food was extremely disappointing. Also, some people with mobility issues may struggle with the numerous steps to get to the hotel from the landing stage. And although in the park, there was zero connectivity with the park. the hotel has potential, but needs improvement.
