Stayed in an impeccable colonial-style heritage hotel, with mind-blowing teak furnishings and flooring. Excellent service, convenient location, and delicious food options. Staff went ABOVE AND BEYOND to ensure a memorable experience.

The database had a fantastic lounge area that was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. the sofa and chairs were comfortable, and the TV provided entertainment. the room we stayed in was the most beautiful, spacious, and well-furnished room we had on our trip.

One minor drawback was the heating system in the room. It seemed to struggle to maintain a consistent temperature, which made it a bit uncomfortable at times.

Convenient location close to Mall and Chowrasta, making it easy to explore. a wonderful stay with excellent service and a friendly Labrador named Casper.

During my business trip, my director selected the Elgin, Darjeeling - Heritage Resort & Spa for our accommodation. We stayed in the New Tenzing Norgay Wing, which exuded the old world charm of gracious living. the location, just below the Mall Road and Chowrasta, allowed for a quick 5-minute walk to the bustling hub of Darjeeling. the staff was welcoming and always ready to assist. the clean and comfortable heritage rooms provided a quiet and secluded retreat, yet still close to the city center. the F&B staff, particularly Ashok, Prashant, and Dilleep, ensured that the food was excellent and service impeccable. the Elgin Spa offered a range of indulgent treatments, from manicures and pedicures to facials, enhancing the overall relaxation experience.

This lack of clarity and ownership from the hotel management was disappointing.

During my recent stay at a heritage hotel in Darjeeling, I had the pleasure of experiencing the utmost comfort and luxury at Elgin. The hotel is conveniently located near the Mall, offering easy access to shopping and other attractions. As I entered the hotel, I was mesmerized by its colonial-style architecture and surrounded by lush greenery.

The spa services were amazing and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. the location of the hotel was also great as it was close to many shops and restaurants. the room had a beautiful view of the surrounding area.

The cleanliness of the room was not up to par and there were some issues with the plumbing. the food options were limited and not very tasty.

The spa centre of this hotel was luxurious with exclusive amenities that I had never experienced before. the garden area was another highlight that added to the peaceful atmosphere. the service was impeccable as the staff went above and beyond to fulfil my needs. The location advantages of this hotel made it convenient to explore the city. Cons: the restaurant lacked variety for breakfast, but the quality of food was excellent. this hotel exceeded my expectations and provided a relaxing and indulgent experience.
